Hi, I'm Murat Alperen Ulutaş.

4th-year Computer Engineering student. I care more about why a system is designed a certain way than whether it simply works.

Experience.

Software Engineering Intern, Yaz Information Systems (Aug — Sep 2026).

Built a money transfer system with ASP.NET Core, EF Core, PostgreSQL and React: approval, cancel and reversal workflows, idempotent requests, ordered pessimistic locking, and a balance derived from the ledger instead of stored in a column. Covered it with integration tests for concurrency and race conditions.

Before that, a Mini CRM: layered, vertical-slice backend with CQRS, policy-based access control and a system-wide audit log, and a React frontend that generates its forms and tables from the OpenAPI spec.

Projects.

Tayangu (archived) — a graph-based workflow framework in Python. Hexagonal architecture keeps LLM and workspace concerns out of the core, so providers can be swapped without touching domain code. A generic runtime with trigger, conditional and tool-runner nodes supports cyclic, loop-capable workflows with traceable, replayable sessions.

Chat Application — microservices in Spring Boot communicating over Kafka, Redis for session state, a Flutter client, deployed on Kubernetes.

Cache Simulator — trace-driven C++ simulator for LRU, FIFO and Random replacement, with a Python pipeline that turns the results into sensitivity heatmaps.

Background.

Studying Computer Engineering (English) at Istanbul Health and Technology University on a full scholarship (2022 — Present, 4th Year).
